  • any loss resulting from their use.

You should review the relevant third party’s terms and privacy information before using its website or service.

10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, available at:

Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how and why we use it, who it may be shared with, how long it may be retained and the data-protection rights available to individuals.

Agreement to these Terms does not by itself constitute consent to every use of personal information. Where consent is legally required, it will be requested separately.

11. COOKIES

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies.

Some cookies are necessary for the website to operate. Other cookies, including certain analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, may require your consent.

Where consent is required, you should be able to accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies through the website’s cookie settings.

  • maintenance;
  • security;
  • repairs;
  • technical problems;

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We take reasonable precautions to protect the website. However, we cannot guarantee that it will be completely free from viruses, malicious software or other security risks.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for:

  • misuse of the website by the user.

Where you use this website for business purposes, Horizon will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or loss of business data, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

These Terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

14. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR INFORMATION PROVIDED

You are responsible for ensuring that information and documents you provide through the website or in connection with an enquiry are accurate, complete and genuine.

You must not knowingly provide:

  • false or misleading information;
  • altered or fraudulent documents;
  • information belonging to another person without authority; or
  • unlawful or unnecessary sensitive information.

Providing information through the website does not create a client relationship or require Horizon to accept an enquiry or provide services.

A formal service relationship begins only when the relevant agreement or written engagement requirements have been completed.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms where our website, services, business practices or legal obligations change.

The latest version will be published on this page with the revised date.

Changes will apply from the date the updated Terms are published. Changes will not alter rights or obligations already established under a separate signed agreement unless that agreement permits the change.

16. SEVERABILITY

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

17. NO WAIVER

If Horizon does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived the right to enforce it later.

18. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If a dispute arises, you should contact Horizon first so that the matter can be reviewed and an attempt made to resolve it.

Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from proposing mediation or another voluntary form of dispute resolution.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that allow a consumer to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction.
